TV & Film Medics

Security Medics supplies unit medics to the TV and Film industry to assist during filming.

All our unit medics are trained IHCD emergency medical technicians and are equipped to deal quickly and effectively with minor and major injuries and illnesses.

As Unit Medics, our aim is to administer Emergency First Aid if required but also to keep all cast and crew healthy and fully functioning so as not to disrupt filming. Our medics also act as the 'On Set' Health & Safety Rep to ensure everyone is working in a safe environment and in accordance with the HSE guidelines, thus avoiding unnecessary injuries.

Our medical support units are single-manned marked emergency vehicles carrying comprehensive trauma and resuscitation equipment, including cardiac defibrillators, pulse oximeters, full emergency drug kit, analgesic gases, burns kit and splinting equipment.
